The participants had focus group discussions last November 3 to 4 at Franciscan Center in Hannam-dong, Seoul. They discussed about the presentations to be made on November 6, 2010 and made resolutions as to what the youth of today can do in terms of contributing to solidarity for the achievement of Asian Peace in areas covering social, medical/healthcare, educational and child welfare fields.

The actual 2010 Seoul Pax Forum commenced on November 5, Friday in the Auditorium of the Seoul St. Mary's Hospital (located in Banpo, Seoul). Several important persons from The CatholicEducation Foundation and The Catholic University of Korea, including Msgr. Raphael Park Shineon, Rev Johan Pahk Yeongsik, Most Rev. Osvaldo Padilla, Mr Yu Inchon, His Eminence Nicolas Cardinal Cheong Jinsuk, Most Reverend Tarcisius Isao Kikuchi, among others, were present during the said event. During the main forum, held last November 6, 2010, there were fourteen presenters. Those who presented came from various countries including Nepal, Cambodia, the Philippines, Japan and Korea. The discussions made the participants aware of the prevalent situations in developing and developed countries. Such include the child soldiers in Asia (in countries in the Middle East, Burma, the Philippines) for the social field, the difficulty in health care and basic sanitation in Cambodia for the medical field, the language education problems of immigrant women and labor in Korea for the educational field, the challenges of children in countries like Nepal in the field of child welfare. There are many other topics discussed during the said forum.
As a result of the forum, the participants were encouraged to imbibe the zeal of volunteerism in them. In being aware of these situations that face the world, the participants were better educated and understood better about the realities of life. Furthermore, quoting from Albert Schweitzer, they understood that 'The purpose of human life is to serve and show compassion and the will to help others.'
