7- ELEVEN: THE BEST CONVENIENCE STORE

Not far from Noon Square is  7-Eleven Myeong-dong. It was relatively smaller than other branches here in Seoul but its every nook and cranny is filled with stuff you need like food, toiletries, batteries, umbrella and even magazines. We were really fascinated on how they arrange the items to fit their area.

Many tourists and locals are flocking towards 7-Eleven during that rainy evening. Some of them were buying coffee, milk, umbrella and other personal items. They have a special rack containing the items on sale like noodles, canned goods, juices and other dry goods. The store manager was very helpful and tried hard to speak in English during our visit. He explained to us the range of items on Sale.

They have a Seoul Summer Sale Poster located at the rear portion of the cashier. We purchased a cup noodle which is on sale at 800 won. As we are about to leave, we forgot to ask for a receipt so we headed back. The saleslady was so polite and she printed another receipt for us. Indeed, it shows how their store values every customer no matter how small or big your purchase is.
